COUNT ME in 2020

How Community Nonprofits Can Support Census 2020

Friday, January 10 | 2:30 - 3:30 pm

Community nonprofits are invited to participate in a one-hour workshop to learn about the upcoming 2020 Census and how they can support a fair and accurate count. As trusted voices in communities across the State of Connecticut, community nonprofits are positioned to help their staff and the people they serve get counted.

Workshop participants will learn the U.S. Census Bureau’s plan to invite every person to respond, and how nonprofits can support those efforts and answer common questions about the Census questionnaire. Success of the census count depends on community involvement –community nonprofits can help! If you are not able to attend this workshop, please designate someone from your organization to attend!

Did you know Connecticut receives $10.7 billion in federal funding?

If people in Connecticut are not counted, those dollars that support schools, roads, public works and other vital assistance programs will go to other states. You can help make sure every person in Connecticut is counted and keep those dollars where they are needed.
