An Introduction From MARC’s New CEO & President

I want to introduce myself as the new President & CEO of MARC Community Resources.

I am thrilled to be leading such an influential and respected organization. I bring 15 years of experience working in the human services field, specifically with the intellectual and developmental disability (I/DD) community. Over the past two years, I worked with the Catholic Charities Archdiocese of Hartford as the Senior Director of Developmental Services. While there, I oversaw the growth and development of their residential services and opened their first day program.

I have hit the ground running, learning more about MARC and what makes it such a great organization. We have an outstanding team passionate about what they do and motivated to grow the organization, and I look forward to building upon that team. I am grateful for their support and the board of directors’ support as I transition into my new role.

I enjoyed meeting everyone at MARC during a welcome celebration.

As I get to know MARC better and understand the challenges and opportunities, I welcome your thoughts and suggestions. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me at 860-342-0700, ext 100, or melissa.davison-wood@marc-cr.org.

I am very excited to be part of this dynamic team and look forward to meeting everyone in the MARC family.

Best regards,

Melissa Davison-Wood

CEO/President
